Angel bite piercings.

Huh. It's kind of hard to tell from the quality of the photo, but I think I saw a bit of white on the insides which could mean an infection is brewing.

Changing the jewellery before a piercing is fully healed is nearly always a bad idea as it irritates the healing flesh and can be unclean. Surgical steel and titanium are the best for healing piercings, as other materials are can be porous, harbour bacteria and allow toxins to seep back into the skin. Since you've already done it, though, leave the new rings in to avoid further irritation. Clean the piercings with sea salt (instructions below, if you don't know how) and only change them back if the infection gets worse and after consulting a piercer.

To clean a piercing with sea salt salt:
Get a quater of a teaspoon of natural sea salt (HAS TO BE natural) and mix it into a pint of hot, but not boiling clean water. Non flavoured bottled water will do. Taste the mixture and it shouldn't be any stronger than your own tears. If you eat a lot of salt, make it a bit weaker than you think it should be. Use a cotton bud to clean away anything that might be crusted around the piercing, then pour some of the mixture into a small container that you can fit your the piercing in and soak it for 30 minutes or so, changing the water every time it starts to cool down. Rinse the piercing with clean water and repeat every one-two days until the piercing heals. Depending on how bad the infection is, you could see a difference in hours. The hot sterile water will draw out anything that shouldn't be in there (pus and dirt), while the natural sea salt puts nutrients back it your skin and speeds up the healing process. It also hurts a lot less than harsh chemicals, and won't damage your skin. You'd also want to use an anti-bacterial mouthwash.
