computer build compatibility check?

this is everything for my computer build and i want to make sure everything will work well together before start buying everything.

Processor: Intel Core i7-2600k 3.4 Ghz
Motherboard: ASUS LGA 1155 P67 SATA 6 GBps and USB 3.0 -Supported ATX P8P67 Pro
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5870
Hard Drive: Seagate ST310005N1A1AS -RK 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0 Gb/s 3.5" internal HDD
( with the hard drive, if i wanted more speed could i install two of those?)

thanks for the quick responses! im also very glad you guys mentioned the sata III HDD and the non-sandy-bridge CPU.

It looks fine.

i would have gotten a sata III HDD since your motherboard supports it. (not to mention the problem with these motherboards is the sata II is defective and thats why they were recalled)

but yes if you get 2 of the EXACT same hdd, you can set them up for raid 0 and it will make it 2x as fast(each hdd loads 1/2 of the information). you only get the space of 1 hdd (if you have 2 1tb in raid0, you get 1tb of space).

Also i would get a gtx560 instead of the 5870.

EDIT: @ dave your information is incorrect. ONLY the sata II ports on the intel motherboard are flawed. NOTHING else is wrong with the CPU or motherboards.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Newegg has recently become aware of a design issue that is affecting recent models of Intel Sandy Bridge platform motherboards. We are working with Intel to identify the exact nature of this problem.

From a technical standpoint, the design issue can be bypassed fairly simply by not using the Serial ATA (SATA) ports that are affected. Your motherboard’s manual should identify your SATA ports by number, and at a minimum you should see ports 0-5 (6 ports in total) listed. Ports 0 and 1 are Sata Rev. III (6Gbps), and do not appear to be affected by this problem. Ports 2-5 are SATA Rev. II (3Gbps) and should not be used.
