Can a wood privacy gate be attached to galvanized posts?
We are installing a simple 6' tall redwood privacy fence at the front of our house. We have installed one already but it didn't need a gate, this side does. The other fence we built was made using galvanized posts with redwood pickets. Can I incorporate this design; redwood and galvanized with a wooden gate? I can't seem to find any hinges that would work with galvainzed but I'm concerned that wood posts won't be permanent and I don't want to have to dig up the concrete and posts every so often to replace rotting wood. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!
Yes. There are galvanized rounded clamps made just for this. They are in the same section as the chain link fence stuff.
