Week old tattoo peeling?
i've heard some peeling is normal but i don't know coz this is my first tattoo. flakes of black skin comes off when i rub the aftercare lotion in. and yeah it just looks pretty shitty atm :/
i'm pretty worried, was it not done properly?

Easy one, stop rubbing it... Be very gentle and only use your fingertips when softly and lightly spread the moisturizer across the tattoo.. Only a thin layer.
And when drying the tattoo after a wash, use a paper towel and gently pat on the tattoo.
No rubbing allowed whatsoever.
better to re-moisturize it more often than to put heavy layers on so the tattoo/wound can't breathe.
